2008 Global Million Man Marijuana March
Meet at the park east of the Riverside Tennis Center and north of the Keeper of the Plains statue. (Northeast location of this section of land, the fork of the river). There is also a parking lot next to the area. Concerned citizens will gather 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Be sure to bring your picnic lunch, and any lawn toys you'd like to share, (like frisbee's, soft balls, lawn darts - you get the idea.) At noon, some will march to and occupy the nearby bridges, waving to traffic, carrying signs promoting drug law reform, for about an hour. Others will share their lobbying experiences for 2008. It has been a great year for Activists in Kansas.
11:30 - 1:30, Saturday, May 3, 2008.
You are requested not to bring any illegal substances. There is no doubt that all will be photographed, and auto tags recorded by law enforcement.
Leave your dog's and pets at home!
Don't forget your lunch, hope to see you there, we will have lots of fun.
