Moak's Bill Passes

I just got word that Senator Moak's (D-Mississippi) "Dis-Memberment Bill" just passed by overwhelming majority, leaving many local authorities unsure of the legal ramifications. Harold Laude of the American Civil Liberties Union Mississippi was quoted as saying "there will be an immediate challenge of this archaic law's ability to pass constitutional muster." The ACLU Mississippi said mechanisms are already in place to challenge the draconian measure.

It was assumed by most in the anti-drug community that Senator Moak had 'gone out on a limb' with his lofty proposal. Sources close to Moak revealed that he reportedly "would give an arm and a leg" to insure that society was free from the scourge of illicit drugs.

Very disturbing indeed! -viv
