Thank you for writing. I have been deeply touched by the many letters I have received from people who are trying to hold on to the American dream. Your letter expresses the pain and frustration felt by so many people in America today.

I want to help restore hope and opportunity by changing the direction and policies that have hurt us as individuals and as a nation. We must invest in the people of this country by creating jobs, education and health care systems necessary for us all to enjoy the reward of our greatest resource: The American people.
