Dear Dana and friends

Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

Wichita held a fantastic incident free Global Million Man Marijuana March. All shared high spirits and great energy as we observed fellow activists stretch for blocks as we pleasurably walked around the judicial square in downtown Wichita. Debby Moore founder of Kansas Environmentalists for Commerce in Hemp, and CEO of Hemp Industries of Kansas (hempforus.com), led while playing her gong. Other organization leaders participating were representing the Drug Sense Media Awareness Project (mapinc.org), LEAP-Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, Kansas South Central NORML, Drug Policy Reform of Kansas, Libertarian Party of Kansas.

No DEA, even though Wichita has a local office. No police, not even undercover officers. I had personally told city council, and police authorities that we were saving them money by marching through the in place cameras.

At the end of our walk, greatful that the rain had ceased long enough for our demonstration, all shook hands, and hugged one another, as we made plans to meet again same time, same place next year.

Of course, we might really influence a change in the poor, harmful, drug laws. Then we could celebrate decriminalization, and party in the streets "all night long". Wouldn't that be a beautiful day.

Don, owner of Ohio Hempry owes me a dance. Celebrating decriminalization could be some very sweet music. That term would be, "LOAD A BOWL, AND ROCK AND ROLL!"
